For Advisors
Partner with us
How we help
A practice that complements yours, not competes with it.
If you are an advisor — financial, legal, estate planning, tax, or trust — working with families navigating significant wealth, you have probably encountered the same gap we encounter every day: the most sophisticated plan in the world doesn’t work if the family can’t agree on what they’re planning for, or if the next generation isn’t prepared to receive what’s coming, or if the relational dynamics underneath the planning keep undoing the work.
That gap isn’t your job to fill. It can’t be. The technical disciplines you’ve spent your career mastering require a different set of skills than the ones we bring. But the gap is real, and it consistently puts good plans at risk.
Attune Consulting Group exists to fill that gap.
What we offer
What partnership with Attune looks like.
We work alongside advisor teams, not in place of them. Our role is the human and relational dimensions of the family’s work — the dimensions that affect whether your technical recommendations actually take hold and stay in place. In practice, partnership with us tends to look like one of three things:
-
When you encounter a client family whose challenges have outrun the scope of traditional advisory work — a family in conflict, a rising generation that isn’t being prepared, communication breakdowns that are derailing the planning — we can engage as a separate partner the family hires directly. Your role doesn’t change. Ours runs in parallel.
-
For families where the relational dimensions and technical dimensions need to be worked on together, we can facilitate family meetings, surface dynamics that are blocking decisions, hold space for the conversations that the technical advisors are not positioned to lead, and then hand the meeting back to your team for the planning and execution work.
-
For high-complexity families, we can serve as a continuity presence over the long arc of the family’s wealth journey — the relational counterpart to your team’s technical counsel.
In every case, we are aligned only with the family’s interests. We don’t take referral fees. We don’t have arrangements with other professionals. We are paid by our clients, and our work is to make their work — and yours — more effective.
Why your work depends on this work
We’ve heard versions of this from advisors across the field:
The estate plan was elegant, but the family hasn’t agreed on what they actually value, so the plan keeps getting renegotiated.
The next generation has signed everything they were asked to sign, but no one has actually had a conversation with them about what any of it means.
The patriarch is brilliant about the business, but cannot have a conversation with his children that doesn’t end in shutdown — and the succession plan depends on those conversations happening.
The siblings are speaking through the trust officer because they cannot speak directly to each other.
Our work is what addresses these dynamics. When it goes well, it is invisible — the planning simply works, the family stays in coherent conversation with itself, the rising generation grows into stewardship rather than against it. The technical work you do holds because the relational ground underneath it is strong.
That’s the proposition. We make excellent plans last.
